He headlined the 2020 ReGeneration Festival in Florence, staged in the historic Boboli Gardens and streamed to an international audience. Jewison has performed at iconic London venues, including the West End’s Crazy Coqs, Camden’s famous Jazz Café, Westminster Abbey and the Royal Opera House, where he made his sold-out recital debut with “The Composer in Hollywood” in March 2022.
In 2019, Jewison was profiled by Sky News in a live studio interview, ahead of a string of concerts in Europe. He appeared with his trio at Music in Valsolda festival on Lake Lugano and the Orticola Di Lombardia in Milan. Jewison took over the late programme at the 2019 New Generation Festival in Florence, performing with his jazz dectet.
Jewison regularly appears on BBC Radio 3, having most recently performed for the 2021 In Tune Christmas Special. His acclaimed interpretation of the Great American Songbook featured in his show at Nevill Holt Opera in June 2022 and he made his EFG London Jazz Festival debut with a sold-out concert in November 2022.
Born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Jewison’s musical contributions resulted in him receiving the Borough Thank You Award for Performing, Artistic and Cultural Endeavours. He is an award-winning graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, graduating with the TCM Silver Medal for Voice: the department’s highest honour.
