Matthew_HuberMatthew Huber collaborates as a soloist and chamber musician with many of Europe’s finest chamber and early music ensembles. A Fellow of the Royal Schools of Music, he has presented recitals throughout Europe and the USA, and has been invited to teach masterclasses in Seoul, Korea, as well as 18th-century performance practice at the Royal Academy of Music, London. He studied with Steven Doane at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, Ralph Kirshbaum at the RNCM, Manchester, Steven Isserlis at IMS Prussia Cove, and Gary Hoffman at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, Belgium, where he held a Young Artist Soloist Residency in 2012.

Matthew has appeared at the Kronberg, Schiermonnikoog, Zagreb “Virtuosi” and Salisbury International festivals, Boston and Utrecht Early Music festivals, and the North York Moors Chamber Music Festival. He plays on a rare cello by Francesco Ruggieri, Cremona, 1685.
