A huge thank you to everyone who submitted entries A huge thank you to everyone who submitted entries to the 2026 Lawson-May Award for Composition. It was a huge pleasure and privilege to listen to them all - really inspiring. 

Many congratulations to our winners Dario Argentesi and Thomas Haupt and to our finalists! The world premiere of Dario's The Sad Snake will be given at the Solent Music Festival on Tuesday 26 May at 11am in our Family Concert and at 7 in our evening concert 'Sam and Friends'
